Who we are
TodayWeather.pk (“we”, “us”) operates this website to provide weather forecasts, air-quality data and related content for locations across Pakistan. You can contact us at hello@todayweather.pk.
Information we collect
- Location: if you tap “Near me”, we ask your browser for your approximate GPS location. We only use it in that session to fetch the relevant weather; we do not store it on our servers.
- Account data (optional): if you sign in, we store your email, provider ID and your saved cities so we can sync favourites across devices.
- Device data: standard log data such as browser type, referrer, and pages viewed, used for security and to improve the service.
- Cookies & local storage: used to remember your saved cities, language preference and session.
Advertising (Google AdSense & partners)
We may display advertising provided by third parties, including Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Its use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks may also collect data via their own cookies. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage of the site (page views, popular cities, device type). Analytics data is not used to identify individual users.
How we use information
To provide and improve the service, personalise language and units, secure the platform against abuse, and — where enabled — sync your saved cities across devices. We do not sell your personal information.
Data sharing
We share data only with the service providers required to operate the site (hosting, database, authentication, advertising). Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your account exists. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us; saved favourites are then removed.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by writing to hello@todayweather.pk.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
